Don began his nursing career at the age of 20 in his home country, the Philippines. In 1999, he relocated to London, United Kingdom, where he continued his nursing practice. Driven by a desire for knowledge, he pursued further education at Middlesex University, becoming the first Medical Nurse Practitioner from Asia at North Middlesex University NHS Hospital and Barnet and Chase Farm NHS Hospital.
Seeking new adventures, Don moved to Tucson with his family, where he has since worked at Tucson Medical Center, gaining a wealth of experience in the medical field. In 2018, he earned his Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner, graduating with honors from the University of Phoenix and being inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
Don is a National Board Certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and actively participates in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, the Southern Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse – Nurse Practitioner Society, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
In 2021, he further enhanced his expertise by obtaining certifications in Botox, Fillers, and Lasers from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. Don is passionate about attending dermatology and anti-aging conferences worldwide, where he stays updated on the latest breakthroughs to apply in his practice.
Outside of his professional commitments, Don enjoys international travel and immersing himself in diverse cultures with his wife and two children.
